A large clematis flower at Atcombe Court

I went to our regular meeting at Atcombe Court, where a small group  gathers. I've been meeting some of them for more than twenty-five years now, and hearing about each others' lives feels very important.

We have a break at lunchtime and share food we all bring. Then there was time for a few minutes in the lovely sunshine before returning to the day's activities. I grabbed a couple of snaps of this beautiful summer flowering clematis on the wall of a small stone barn.
