Three Young Ladies
They are relatives of Cynthia, our hostess in Maine. They and some other dozen other young persons, with as many adults, have been spending the weekend in the family lodgings on Barker pond. They were formerly a camp ground, which was bought over a generation ago by the family as a vacation destination. Cynthia baked over a dozen muffins for breakfast, and since we couldn't eat them all, the three girls came over to fetch the extras (with one of the moms; I had no chance to get their names). Yesterday we joined the entire group for a generous lobster supper (there were enough for me to have two); it was a very convivial evening.
After breakfast today we left for the family house in Tamworth (ca. 90 minutes across the border in New Hampshire). We were invited for a lovely supper tonight with relatives. It's late, I'll have more on that tomorrow.
