Rainy Day Dilemma

Thank you so much for all your comments yesterday, sorry I didn't have a lot of time to reply :)

Another awful day...rain, rain, rain...what to blip today. I took hundreds lots of shots of puddles, trying to catch raindrops on them....nothing satisfied me, even the bright nasturtiums that are still trying to give it a go, the back windscreen of the car covered in rain... you name it I tried it today!

Then in a short gap in the rain about 30 minutes ago, I spotted from the window, that down the path these poor calendula had fallen on the ground. Out I rushed with a piece of white paper, and there were some ideas for todays blip....but I still can't make my mind up (and obviously blip can only be one~or a collage), so today I've put a few others on flickr here :) See what you think?

(can anyone tell me how to get fingerprints off my lens please?) Had to crop quite a lot due to fingerprints....

I saved the flowers and put them in a vase, though how long they'll last I'm not sure, but they're a bit of brightness indoors!

Poor Billy hasn't known what to do with himself these last two days....he really hates the rain. Yesterday he rushed indoors when I got home from church, and stayed there all the time I was at work. This morning he came back in before I went out and has only just gone out now, but its beginning to rain again!

Off to my friend's for a quick cuppa this afternoon and then back to the drs again.

Hoping not to have to have more antibiotics, but I have another lump on my leg, just below the last one which hasn't completely gone away yet :( (plus the female thing beginning with T is back again, and I'm considering a yeast free diet to see if that helps)

In other news, how I wish other drivers would be more careful!!!

I was rather frightened at the speed of vehicles going down narrow country lanes this morning (flooded roads :()

I even had one prat person (could think of worse words..) flashing from behind me as if I was too slow, when I was being sensible... And there was even some person in a 4x4 vehicle who ended up aquaplaning on the water, alright for him, but if he'd hit me, he'd have written off my little car....

Plus, people cutting trees on a bend so I couldn't see past the bend to make sure nothing was coming, and they did nothing to help....I got hooted at by the vehicle behind (when I looked round I got two fingers put up at me...how rude and impatient is that)!!!

Rant over....keep safe out there people its not nice at all!
