Four-leaved clover

I was always wondering why people say a four-leaved clover brings luck. I did some research and found out they actually say each leaf is believed to represent something: the first is for faith, the second is for hope, the third is for love, and the fourth is for luck. So this actually means today I should be lucky, lovely, faithful and hopeful. Kinda?
