Couldn't see the wood for the trees

Today I visited Furzey Gardens near Lyndhurst.  It's a charitable trust helping people with learning disabilities, and a beautiful place to explore and for children to play in.  I thought I remembered the way, but could have done with my satnav.  The signposting is appalling.  On the way out I took a wrong turn and ended up on the outskirts of Lyndhurst - definitely a no no in August.  In my childhood they were campaigning for a bypass, but for some reason it never happened.  Instead there is a complicated one-way system which the uninitiated could spend all day circling round.

I don't know what this flower is, but I liked it.
