Westerwood

Tuesday's walk with Cumbernauld & Kilsyth Ramblers took us from Cumbernauld Village up to Westerwood, where a short walk along a stretch of the Antonine Wall was followed by a meander along some of the paths through the golf course.

It was one of these 'four seasons in a day' kind of days, with warm, sunny summer weather being interspersed with dark, overcast skies, showers of rain and one torrential downpour. Thankfully the sunny and warm periods were more frequent.
