Cactus collection.

Here is another from my modest collection.
This is a Mammillaria. This is one of the largest genera with about 250 species. In the wild most come from the south western USA and Mexico.
Their flowers are small but continue for several weeks often forming a circle round the top of the plant. This is one I have grown from seed.

I have joined the British Cactus and Succulent Society. I have a deal with Mrs. K. that I can join new societies but whenever I do I agree to resign from an old one.
