Storm adventures!

The rain of yesterday has gone, today we are enjoying a very strong north west wind. I am looking after Miss T today as her school has a closure day. Given the windy forecast the two of us set off on an adventure to see if we could find some large waves. This was her favourite photograph!

This is Les Hanois lighthouse which sits on a reef on the south west side of Guernsey. It was built in 1862 and became automated in 1996. It stands 33 metres high above mean high water.
