Partial Eclipse

Having seen the full solar eclipse in Newquay back in  1999 I wasn't all that fussed about the partial eclipse.  Curiosity got the better of me though and I headed out with my two pieces of card and my camera.  You're always told don't look directly at the sun so in the absence of the stylish eclipse specs, I held my piece of card with a whole in it and my viewing card until I could see what was happening.  Thankfully though as I was giving up, the clouds came in.  Still probably shouldn't have looked for as long as I did but it allowed a couple of nice shots.
