Emperor (Saturnia pavonia)

Imagine my surprise when I got into my car on the way to the dentist to find this beautiful moth fluttering about on my windscreen!  How he got in I'll never know.  I was a bit early for my dental appointment so I found a place to park and took a few blips.  I was hoping to get better blips when I returned from the dentist, but, of course, he escaped when I opened the car door.  Ah well  -  that's life:)  Got to go back to dentist on Friday for polishing etc.  Have a nice evening, everyone:)
