That time again.
The Lammas Market is said to be Scotland's oldest surviving medieval market. Nowadays it comprises large fairground rides, various rides for children and several market stalls. There are also a range of food outlets. The event closes off two of the main streets in town for a few days every August. By tomorrow it'll look like it was never here - the streets are always left in good order.
