Aira Force.
When Clickychick had finished sorting some shots for a client she suggested we went to Aira Force for a walk. Mid afternoon on a sunny afternoon in the school holidays, we must be mad. However parking wasn't bad, a good sign. The steps down to the force were a queue both up and down.
We made our way down slowly taking shots as we went. Arriving at the bottom we realised we had chosen just the right day. To get "rainbows" showing you need two conditions, lots of water (preferably not brown) actually not as easy as it might seem for the Lakes. The other of course is sunlight reaching the spray from the falls.
The crowds dispersed surprisingly rapidly leaving just a few of us, all with cameras of one form or another. With regard to blipping the problem has been choosing from the many shots taken. I eventually settled on this one as it is a little different to the standard Aira Force with "rainbow". Actually the spectrum was showing beside the falls as well but hasn't come out as strongly in the shot.
