Just out ....
Suddenly these lovely flowers are everywhere in Benmore Gardens, with a new scent and attractive blossom just as every other plant seems to be on the point of turning autumnal. Luma apiculata is from Chile, and while this one was a single branch of blooms against the grey of a rock, others were full-sized trees or robust shrubs and absolutely lovely.
This one, appropriately enough, was growing on the hillside of the Chilean garden ...
