Beth

I have been up in London today to see my good friend Beth. I first met her forty years ago when I went to work in her studio after Art College. A potter and glass maker she has been a constant inspiration and very special friend all through the years. I wish I had a tenth of her energy and sense of adventure. We were meant to go and see all sorts of stuff today but just talked for five hours with a short intermission for a guitar recital at St Martins In The Fields - oh and also consumed pints of coffee and a delicious lunch in the Crypt . A lovely day. I am now on the train trying to beat the rush hour.
