Mackenzie Area

I have a conference in Twizel starting this evening.  I had planned to get away from work early enough for photography on the way up here but of course that didn't work out and I was losing the light as I drove up past Burke Pass.

In the end I had to faff about with filters and tripods and lenses to get anything.  Unfortunately it has then come out super intense.  I quite like it, as an example of how the area can look on a perfect day - but it really isn't true to the scene I was looking at.

I turned it mono and sort of like it, but feel it lacks a bit, so I'm blipping the intense one, but the other is in extras.
