Ceridwen and sock at Dunbeath

We arrived at Dunbeath harbour this morning, settled ourselves in and began to discuss our plans for the next few days. It being August we thought it best to book ahead. Of course there is no phone signal and no Internet at Dunbeath.

I suggested perhaps we move off to a place where we could wield a browser. Hence you find us now in Brora.

We were greeted,after asking our name, with a "You aren't from Orkney, are you?"... Our fame apparently having preceded us.

There are advantages to being here, one of which is the proximity of Sid's Spice. So, that's dinner taken care of.

If I understand correctly, tomorrow is the day that I surrender my camera gear at Beauly.

We have now booked 2 nights at Brahan, which we love, for tomorrow and Friday. 2 nights at Culloden follow, along with some shopping in Inverness.
