Mantellisaurus

Up in Town today looking at some old skulls. No prizes for guessing which museum basement they were in. Having now seen the whale skeleton hanging in the foyer I'm afraid I really miss Dippy. I love whales but, big as the skeleton is, it just doesn't have the same impact as a dinosaur, if you ask me, so it was nice to see this little one nearby.

Despite dire warnings from South West Trains last night following the derailed train, I got to Waterloo okay this morning and treated myself to a taxi to the museum. Glad I did as I had the best taxi driver ever: one of those chatty, entertaining ones. He's even been in a few movies, apparently...playing a taxi driver. 'Typecast', he said :D
