Wild Wednesday....Crane Fly

This rather battered looking crane fly was on the dining room wall this morning, it must have flown in yesterday evening when the outer door was open.........I thought it looked in a rather sorry state  with apparently only one wing and uneven and dusty bedraggled legs........
Saw my son off at Temple Meads railway station, his onward journey a reunion with an old school friend who lives in a tiny village half an hour inland from Aberystwyth... ....normal service has resumed back here !!
