Sunset

on a glorious day :)

I went for another long walk today, down hill and uphill, then along the road past the farm.  The poor cows had a problem with flies which wasn't nice and they weren't paying attention to me.

In the afternoon, I got myself a chair from the pile that had been commandeered by the group of visitors put around a table for the group and just sat around reading and generally being lazy.  After coffee I took another walk down to the beautiful little church that I have blipped in previous years.  It was very peaceful there :)

The group went out for dinner (unusual for Stanton) in the evening, so it was just me.  Nice of the two house stewards to sit and share with me whilst we ate :)

After dinner I went for my usual wander around the grounds and up to the prayer hut.  This is the best view of the sunset through the trees...
