Living in the country

I was delighted to catch the harvesting of the barley on my dog walk this evening and got some good photos of the big machine and the dust.

However my blip had to be this: a dog walking friend Edith and her dog Alfie.  Edith is 80+ and still walks the same circuit as me with her spaniel twice a day.  I love that I can get Edith, Alfie and the combine harvester in the same shot.  I do love where we live.

Ben is a bit subdued.  A level results are out tomorrow and a cloud of uncertainty hangs over the house.
