Hanging On

Most of these are dead like the one on the bottom, but a few are still hanging on, a little bedraggled but still pretty. I slept in until 9:00 today, something I NEVER do. My husband is out of town and I had a busy weekend with my childhood best friend who flew in from Arizona. The highlight of the weekend was the 50 year class reunion of my elementary school. Many went to school there for nine years together. It was amazing to step back into our wonderful childhood with these twelve year olds in 64 year old bodies! Two teachers came, one was 93 and one 84. I think they were impressed by the people they saw, and so was I! We're still hanging on!
