Transit Neon
We took our first extended public transit trip into Los Angeles to see some of the city and watch the USC/UCLA volleyball match. As seems to be the case every time we travel the Blue Line into the city, we were forced to exit the train prior to arriving at the 7th Street Transit Mall and take a shuttle bus. Some day we will actually arrive at the station underground rather than on the street. This neon art installation is above the tracks at the Pershing Square Station, where we started our brief tour of LA sites (Angle's Flight, Bradbury Building, Grand Central Market, Broadway Theater District) before heading down to USC for the game (which USC won in four).
