Uneventful journey to Edinburgh though the last 70 miles or so was a bit tedious- single track road (a69?) there must have been problems on the a1 as the satnav took me that way. Went to the James Tait black prize at the book festival- some really interesting entries which I really want to read. Interesting discussion ably chaired by the lovely sally magnusson, and then a delush supper
