Bread!!

It was a glorious day for seagull photography.  The sky was cobalt blue, the clouds were perfect and it was windy.  Perfect conditions.  The gulls hover in the wind and stay in one spot for so long that it's hard not to take a good picture.   I took a break from ancestry today and spent a fun couple hours with Mary Jo and several bags of bread down by the marina in our favorite spot for finding gulls.   We were getting pretty good at throwing the bread up to the gulls and they were getting even better at catching it.  You can see the bread in this blip.  Mary Jo and I would take turns throwing the bread so we could each have a chance to photograph them catching it.  I think she got one picture of a gull just as he caught the bread.  By the time we ran out of bread the gulls had figured out how to catch it so on the way home we stopped at the market and stocked up on more bread for the next session.

All told, I came home with a couple hundred gull pictures so I put a few in Extras just because I couldn't make a choice.  I have an odd fixation for gull feathers so one of them is a cropped gull wing.
