Yesterday's delivery was indeed delivered!  Now, where do we put him???
There's a local artist known by the name Tube Dude because he makes all kinds of figures out of metal tubes and they all have a smiley face.  This one was a gift from David and Danny, the sons of my dear best friend Sharon on the occasion of our 50th wedding anniversary, which was last year.  He's wearing a Indiana University (my husband's alma mater) basketball uniform with a little insignia on his chest (IU) and holding his own basketball.  Over the years, Indiana U. has had several really good basketball teams.  Anyway, the boys thought this was just what we needed for our anniversary.  He does kind of fit in with Yoda and the panda from China in the bookcase!!!   
I think this is probably going to be his spot because we can see him all the time (our family room and kitchen are one big room).....
What do you think?  Would something like this fit into YOUR home somewhere???  :)
