Matlock

Drove down to Matlock today for lunch with two former students of mine. Lovely restaurant Stones, just near the bridge in the blip. Very nice food and would recommend if you are ever around there. May have to book.

Parked at Matlock Railway Station very convenient for the town and the restaurant. Astounded when I got back to have a parking fine. In good faith I had parked, used my blue disabled badge and went to where directed and it said free parking. When I drove round to another parking machine it was different indicating I should have paid. I made a genuine error. I have never had a parking fine in 48 years of driving. this was an innocent mistake. I have appealed watch this space.
