Up, up and away

Some tourists arrive on the Megabus, some by train or plane. Locals take the bus or walk but VIPs are helicoptered in and out.

I worked late in the office last night and heard a chopper come in low which usually means it's headed for the Palace. Sure enough turns out 2 HRHs were at the Tattoo last night and this tiny black spot is them heading homeward this morning.  Not for them dodging the camera wielding throng and the ankle baiting wheelie cases on the Royal Mile.

Me, I had meetings, a fire evacuation practice and then a trip to Pleasance Dome for 'Cathy', the 2017 take on 'Cathy, Come Home' by Cardboard Citizens.

And the sun shone. Hurray!
