Crucible

The Malvern Theatres Young Company are performing The Crucible for a few days this week. The average age seems to be around 16.  There was no charge, but they asked for donations to support the group.

The performance was excellent, especially the 2nd half which was very powerful and we had no hesitation putting in a substantial contribution into the pot on the way out.

A small but noticeable number of the audience didn't return after the interval.  Not only was that disrespectful in my opinion, and selfish as available seats were rare, it was stupid.
