Baa.....

A lot of rain during the night , again.
The herd took a load of lambs to the mart at Stirling so I was Land Rover' less this morning. Lifted a calf off a cow that hadn't enough milk to feed it properly and twinned it on to last night's cow with the dead calf.
Went away down the road to spread a load of 20/10/10 fert on two fields with cattle in that are starting to get a bit bare.
Once the spreader was washed out and put away again I hitched up the mower and went and opened up a couple more fields of grass next door. The ground is now very wet with all the rain we have been getting, but we will try to persevere as there are a lot of acres of grass still to bale and wrap and we are into mid August already. Soon be Christmas at this rate !
