Me and Ma spent a while picking 10 photos to use in a slideshow at the funeral service.
We went to get a load more printed to put up around the house, then got the train to Reading where we met Keith.
First to Royal Berks to collect the death certificate, then a long walk across town (NOT helped by apple maps trying to make me walk on the IDR) to register his death at the registrars. While we were there we saw the same ladies who's dad was in hospital with Grandad. Our paths keep crossing.
We all needed some sugar afterwards, so had cake at Bills. It poured with rain after a while and we were trapped under our umbrella. Saw Harry by chance at the station - he'd just finished his first day in his new job.
Went back for dinner then got the train back to Bristol again. It's not been an easy few days but I'm so glad I've been able to be here for some of it. Bristol just feels so far away at times like this.
