White Daphne.

A small vase of super fragrant White Daphne,.

I went for a walk in an area of the red zone with Banjo this morning, hoping to find some Daphne. Last year I stumbled across a plant but couldn't quite remember exactly where it was.

I smelt it before I saw it! Just beautiful.

For six years now this plant has struggled to keep growing amongst the weeds and grass of the red zone.

Before the earthquakes devastated the area it would of been happily growing in someone's well tended garden.
