Stealing Sheep

To the Buyers Club tonight for a preview of the third album by top Liverpool band Stealing Sheep. The album’s due out on the Heavenly label early next year but tonight the band - Rebecca Hawley (vocals/synths), Emily Lansley (vocals/bass/guitar) and Lucy Mercer (vocals/drum machines/percussion) gave it a first airing along with some older tunes.

Their style has always been eclectic and hard to classify but seems to be moving further away from their earlier ‘psych-folk’ sound and more and more towards electronica. The music may be changing but they've retained their arty edge, their fondness for some excellent synchronised dance moves and their eye for a great costume!
