Cammeringham
Brian is off work at the moment (Holiday, not sick or skiving!) and as I had a rare free few hours we took a drive out into the sticks in search of something to photograph.
We came to a pretty village named Cammeringham. There's not a lot there really, but it had this scenic walk by a river, and lovely surrounding scenery. Some beautiful houses too, if anyone comes up on the lottery this weekend, and fancies a move to the back of beyond!
The day took a very dark turn for the worst as we walked back to the car and witnessed a cat getting hit by a car! It was so upsetting, even more so because it was a beautiful black cat like Minstrel. He died more or less instantly, poor little thing.
With the aid of one of the neighbours, Brian managed to find his owner fortunately. The young girl who was driving the car was very upset of course too.
Minstrel got an extra-long hug when we got home! Not sure he was thrilled, but he put up with it! I have added a shot I just took of Minstrel as an extra, as I just realised that it is three year ago today that he came to live with us!
