Towneley Hall, woodland and gardens, Burnley.

We went to visit Towneley Hall after a long time and it was just as lovely as ever.
We were careful not to get a drenching, and toured around the extensive house while it was raining, enjoyed a light lunch and then wandered through the Lime grove and gardens. It was so peaceful and well tended, very well worth a visit if you are in the North West.
The ticket means we can visit freely for a year.
 Sad to hear Bruce Forsyth has passed away at age 89.
He was a joyful soul and will be missed by those who loved him.
