Scilla autumnalis is a pretty but insignificant little thing but it's often the little things that catch my eye and draw me in.

Sunshine and showers was the forecast - spot on!  Jamie and I went over to the Grandparents where Jamie mixed Christmas cake with Grandma, to her recipe.  He'd asked if he could learn from her.  Between the showers Grandad and I weeded the vegetable garden.   Later we all shared a trifle Jamie had made up yesterday.

Tomorrow we cook the cake.
