Cairns on the Corner

A local man and his son have taken over 4 lots in our downtown area. Their 2 lots, the lot of a dentist, and a vacant lot. They have taken them over with flowers...many flowers. And...many rocks.

I caught the father out today weeding, and I may have got myself into a small task this October. He has big plans to plant tulip bulbs this Fall in all the downtown planters, and he wants to enlist the help of about 15 people. I told him (with my two lips) that I would help with his tu-lips.

I love it when people put forth SO much time and effort to provide beauty for those around them.

P.S. I have a lot of trouble keeping my pictures straight, but the level on my camera told me I was square. The cairn must be a leaner.
