Heritage Day

A day of rememberance today... Can you imagine packing all your belongings into a canvass covered wagon with your cattle and dogs and setting off into the interior?! That's what the brave Dutch did as they were mighty miffed by the British.. Where would I put all my blue and white china? 1835 to 1846 the Great Trek of the Dutch colonists into the interior..
We had a public holiday and the sun shone, I worked and walked the hounds.. Bliss
