just could not get the objects of my focus today to come out at all the way I had hoped - who knows why?


     (but there is a section of beach with thousands and thousands of these blackened sand dollars which from my limited research means they are alive, just piled on one another higgily piggily and showing up at the extreme low tide - i do love the intertidal zone.)
