Inlet Life
You don't need the biggest, fastest, or fanciest boat to enjoy cruising around the inlet with your girl and your dog.
Although it was a super hot day, the evening at The Marshwalk was absolutely delightful tonight. A nice cooling breeze arrived making things pleasantly liveable out there.
But for us, the big news of the evening was the sight of two spoonbills that suddenly appeared and flew low right over our heads at our usual spot in front of Creek Ratz.
In many years of visiting the MW, this was the first time we had a varified sighting of spoonbills in that specific area.
They seemed to be flying with a couple of snowy egrets and were on a southwest course.
They may be heading toward the marsh where white pelicans were spotted earlier today.
We hope to find out tomorrow and will also likely find us back at the MW for a busy Sat. night as vacation season winds down.
