Rainie & Doug

Well. We're at it again. This time it's effectively a TWO day Blackheath Blipper meet, featuring special guests, the legendary Rainie and her equally charming husband, Doug from New Zealand. Not everyone was here today, but those that weren't will be around tomorrow when we officially celebrate Rainie's birthday. Ahem. Cough. All the best people are reaching a certain age this year.

Anyway, this time we visited Govett's Leap, Pulpit Rock and Anvil Rock (see extras). The weather certainly LOOKED good but it was a trifle cool, now and then.  Doug and Rainie were especially good sports and climbed all the way down to the daunting "bottom lookout" at the Pulpit. On hand were Beckett, Jensphotos, isbi, PaulineP (plus her husband, Peter), Walking Wombat and meself (for the morning, anyway).

As I understand it, the group was moving on to lunch at the Megalong Tea Rooms, afternoon tea at isbi's farm and thence back to Wombat Hollow to watch a "test" match of some sort. Might it have been cricket, perhaps? Some sporting team called the "All Blacks" may have been involved - can't swear to it. Maybe it was basketball. Mmm. Could have been croquet ....
