Dock bug, member of the squash bug family, or little tank, he definitely looks like something out of the army, all that camouflaged armour. There were at least half a dozen of these on a few dock leaves in the sunshine today - when it stopped raining that is, but then Larry sang the wet weather away:

Another long, sad day. I realise these things will take time. She's been in every thought today, every photo that I took, every part of the garden & the house. My mummy has been everywhere today. Odd how some days I can get on perfectly ok & others I just can't. xxx
