Afternoon Walk...

We have had a grey day with drizzle from time to time. Maisie and I took a walk in another area we have not visited for a while. It is the site of a previous district landfill.... "the old dump". It is covered with a thin layer of soil and some months ago the grass there was long and had dried golden.... until an arsonist set fire to it. A large area was burnt off and is now slowly recovering. Maisie had a great time rushing around in muddy areas and needed to be hosed down once we got home.
