Today was the first band rehearsal in the Corn Exchange for Biggar Theatre Workshop's forthcoming production of Jannie Skeeky (aka Gianna Schicchi). The show resets Puccini's one-act comic opera to Edinburgh in the 1970s, rearranged for a six-piece chamber orchestra with a new libretto. Several of the cast came along to sing in their arias - sounds great!

The show runs from Wednesday Sept 27th to Saturday 30th, 2017. I'll be blipping about this more - don't say you weren't warned...
