What an amazing and memorable day Doug & I have enjoyed, (a day that seems like a week) we have seen so much, taken to so many awesome lookout places to view the incredible cliffs and valley that went for miles into the distance, then down into the Megalong Valley to a wonderful restaurant situated in an isolated place which was very popular. From there we went further to Willember Farm home of Isbi where we were taken for a leisurely meander through their farm, over creeks, through gum trees, seeing cattle grazing and kangaroos too with the incredible backdrop of cliffs bathed in the afternoon sunshine, then back to the farmhouse for a delicious afternoon tea & a good old chatter around the big table. What a day of sights from start to end, there have been so many "wow" moments and images that I love.....but at the end of the I've gone for the star of the day weekend, the lovely, energetic, vivacious, caring wwombat - what a woman she is. What a fantastic 70th birthday I have had, finished off by the four of us going out for dinner in the village of Blackheath to celebrate mine and Ccn birthdays....it was a yummo meal. Then, just for a bonus on the way home we encountered a wombat, can you believe that, so lucky.
