A Happy Anniversary at Horsted Place
It's mine & Jenny's 1 year Anniversary today. Cannot believe it's been a whole year already! What a fun, interesting & brilliant time it's been & here's to many more!
For this momentous occasion we decided that something special was in order & so we strolled over to Horsted Place & dined for 3 splendid & extremely gut-bustingly filling hours on afternoon tea. It's an incredible looking building & a beautiful period decorated place to sit & enjoy the peace & comfy surroundings.. & blimey o'reilly were we full by the end. We had sandwiches (crustless), scones (fruit & plain), desserts (tarts, panna cotta & cakes 0f cream, chocolate, sponge, strawberry & blueberry) & lashings of loose leaf tea. Full doesn't really do it justice. Jen named her food baby Seth! We needed those 3 hours I cant tell you. We could have sat there all eve, no problem (mainly because we could barely stand up afterwards!).
It went from light to dark outside, afternoon to evening, & gusty to sunny to rainy while we sat & scoffed & slouched & celebrated.
Cannot think about having anymore food.
... Although both Jenny & I have just said we're both getting a little peckish.
Unthinkable!?
