Something Lives While Something Dies

It has always interested me that all life cycles enable or kill other life cycles. To put it more simply, something dies so that something else lives. Itis a conundrum to me. All life is precious, yet we try to kill life in many ways and forms.

In this little nook of the Fox River, there are dead trees because of high water. This has not always been the case.
