The Wadworth Shires (Saturday 19th August 2017)

It's two weeks already since I saw Max, Monty and Archie off at Wadworth's brewery and then saw them arrive at their holiday field in Bulkington. In a couple of days they'll be back in their stables and delivering beer all around Devizes, so I've been keen to return to their field to see how they were getting on, and got there this afternoon. They were at the far side of the field when I arrived but gradually crossed over to model for me, led by Monty. Here we see Max, Monty and 5-year old Archie (left to right).
Of course I couldn't return via Devizes without calling in to check on the cygnets at Caen Hill and found them at the far side of Monument Lock (see Extra).
