Queensferry Regatta
I was down at the Queensferry Rowing Regatta today. The weather and sea state were interesting. A swell was building throughout the day, which meant the final race for scratch teams had to be abandoned.
The rest of the day was hard work, but great fun with lots of folk sharing the chores, making up teams and generally messing about in boats. What better way to spend a Saturday in August?
This is St Ayles of Anstruther leading in Ferry Maid, and the home team.
