Sea anenome

I organised a Home Ed trip to Filey Brigg to go rock pooling today. We found quite a lot but didn't manage a star fish. It was well attended with some 20 or so home educating families making the trip.
Last time I rock pooled here was as a student in the first year of my biology degree some 15 or so years ago. When 60 uni students rockpool, you get a lot of specimens!
Today was great though and the kids enjoyed hunting for crabs, blennies, anemones, muscles and the like, before digging in the sand further round and going for a paddle.
