Young Artist of the Year 2017 Tiina Pyykkinen

The Young Artist awarded this year, Tiina Pyykkinen, is very interesting. Her paintings amalgamate the paintings together with their surroundings, the reflections on the paintings become part of the art as can be seen here.
we visited the exhibition at Tampere Art Museum today and were mesmerized by Ms Pyykkinen's works mostly oil and alkyd paint on canvas.
We decided to stay in town overnight, and went to have dinner at Restaurant Masu (had again my very favourite seaweed salad and California sushi there, yummy!), where A's daughter Kati also joined us.
After dinner A and I saw a new Finnish film, 'Miami', which was pretty impressive, though a bit rough around the edges - it did not run so smoothly.
